Scarlett Entertainment Launches Employee Wellbeing Campaign
More and more businesses are recognising the importance of incorporating an effective employee health and wellbeing strategy into their organisation, with research showing that wellness initiatives are key when it comes to increasing satisfaction, engagement, and performance within the workplace. Evidence shows that only a third of UK employees are actively engaged at work, with 43% of the UK workforce experiencing work-related stress more than half of the time. Mental health has become one of the main focuses for UK employers in 2016, and as a result corporate-focused charity Business in the Community launched its National Employee Mental Wellbeing Survey in May this year as a tool for identifying ways in which to improve employee wellbeing throughout the country. The survey is open until 29th July, and can be found here.
Already an important trend within the events industry, corporate wellness campaigns can take many forms, be it team building activities, interactive workshops, holistic care, or simply mood-boosting events that bring people together.
Scarlett Entertainment have now introduced a similar initiative of their own in order to cater for the physical, mental, and social wellness of their workforce. A recent survey shows that 89% of employees believe that workplace wellness programmes boost their happiness and wellbeing, something which Scarlett Entertainment strongly supports. With the launch of such a programme within the company, employees at Scarlett Entertainment are now enjoying the full benefits of regular yoga classes and monthly massage therapy, recognising the fact that “if [employees] are active, it’s not just their physical wellbeing that benefits, but their mental wellbeing, their productivity and their happiness.”
And of course Scarlett mascot King Ralph the schnoodle is also always on hand to help with the campaign, providing staff with plenty of comforting hugs and sniffs when needed!
