What type of tents and marquees do you have available? 

We have a great selection of marquees, teepees and tents, perfect for a rustic or outdoor themed event. Whether you are after a traditional white-sided marquee, or a giant tipi or even a circus tent for your next event, we have a variety of options suitable for all sorts of events and styles. Marquees are incredibly versatile and are great for themed events, team building activity days, festivals, weddings, corporate training days and private parties. 

How many people can fit in the marquees?

With such a large variety of marquees, pop up venues and tents we can cater for small parties of 20 guests up to 500+, depending on your site larger marquees are available to cater for bigger numbers. 

Can tents and marquees be put up anywhere?

The ideal site for a pop-up structure is a flat, grassy and level area, however, marquees or event tipis can be put up on a hard surface if needed. Flooring and trackways may need to be changed to suit different sites which could affect the cost but can be done easily. If you have a particularly tricky site a site visit may be needed but we will work closely with you to ensure the best option is available for your event. 

How long does it take to put up the marquees?

This is very dependent on the type and size of your event marquee, teepee or tent, but typically structures are put up a day or so before the event, and depending on the level of decor can take a full day to complete a full set up inside. If you have specific access times and requirements to your venue, let our events team know when enquiring. 

How can the marquees and tents be decorated?

Marquees and pop up event venues are typically a completely blank canvas, perfect for creating your own design and theme. Easily transform your pop up event venue with coloured draping, lanterns, bunting and lighting. Different styles of chairs and tables are available to complement different themes and styles, and can be dressed with different linens, chair covers and tableware.  Our outdoor event tent is transformed with LED lights and logo projection; a simple but effective type or decor. 

Will a marquee damage the grass or lawn?

The ground beneath the structure will always be slightly affected; grass will lose its colour and be flattened but will recover quickly once the tent is taken down. Depending on the number of people and the weather, some areas could become more worn than others but recovery shouldn’t take long. Our event tents are always carefully erected and avoid damaging any flowers or plants. 

Are marquees and teepees only suitable for summer events?

Our pop up event structures are suitable for year-round events, a great option for festivals and weddings, able to provide shelter in the case of any summer downpours, or to keep your guests warm and dry in the middle of winter. We can provide additional heaters and canopies if needed. 

Are pop up structures safe in bad weather?

Marquees and tipis are fine for wet and windy weather unless it’s exceptionally bad, stormy weather, with winds of 60mph and above, you should not experience any problems.  

What sort of lighting is available within the mobile event venues?

This is also dependent on which structure you go for, but a variety of lighting options are possible, including chandeliers, up lighters, rope light canopies, star cloth sky, pin spots, par can lighting, fairy lights, lanterns and even outdoor spotlights. 

Will I need to arrange power for the marquee?

Depending on what activities/line up of the event you may require power, a generator can be booked with the marquee, tipi or event tent. Portable toilets and facilities can also be booked alongside the mobile venue.  

What sort of events can be held in mobile event venues?

Scarlett Entertainment and Events can plan pretty much any event in one of our mobile event space; marquees and tipi structures can be built to suit a particular style or event layout. With different event props and decor available, our pop-up event venues are suitable for weddings, private parties, festivals, meetings, conferences, trade shows, music performances and a variety of themed events.
