Over $160,000 Raised for Charity at Gary Player Invitational
Scarlett Entertainment and Events were thrilled to provide entertainment for the 2017 Berenberg Gary Player Invitational, the world’s leading charity golf series, which was held at Wentworth Club in Surrey.
The entertainment agency’s speed painter created a fantastic work of art which was auctioned off at the event, contributing £22,000 to the final total raised over the duration of the auction. The agency’s ABBA tribute band provided the evening entertainment and had a whole host of celebrities dancing to their classic set.
Towards the end of the following video promoting the event, you can see both the speed painting and the band performing for guests:
The event raised over $160,000 for Depaul, a charitable organisation whose mission is end to youth homelessness.
Lydia and Rebecca received fantastic feedback about the event from the ABBA tribute band, who said:
‘…our show at Wentworth on Monday couldn’t have gone better from our point of view… we received a rapturous ovation at the end and… had Ronan Keating and Gary Player dancing together in front of us. We were inundated with compliments after the show…’
The artists also thanked Lydia and Rebecca ‘for putting us forward for this event and for securing the show for us. We also greatly appreciate your efforts on our behalf in making sure we had everything we needed.’
