Children Experience Science First Hand at Kennet Shopping Centre
Shoppers at Kennet Shopping Centre were pleasantly surprised this summer by various entertainers who not only kept little ones entertained but also allowed them to learn whilst having fun!
These edutainment advocates delivered science experiments and hands-on activities in four sessions throughout a day. Immediately catching both kids and grown-ups’ attention with their lab coats, this team of scientists won their audience over with fun-filled experiments that put smiles on little ones’ faces.
Some of the activities that both children and their parents carried out included fizzing potions, bubbling concoctions, giant smoke rings and sweet making, among others.
Listening carefully to what our edutainers had to say, kids were completely mesmerised by the different experiments executed right before their eyes.
Climate chaos experiments and gooey slime-making (that kids later took home with them) were also among some of the most popular activities of the day.
Allowing children to experience science first-hand by inviting them to create their own slime and sweets, this group of scientists demonstrated once again that learning is an experience that can be enjoyed.
By the end of the day, parents praised our scientists’ work and left thank-you notes on behalf of their children:
We had such a fabulous time exploring - thank you! We will definitely come again!
Awarded with the Royal seal of approval by her Majesty the Queen herself, this Children’s Science Party has also won the BBC’s Dragons’ Den investment.
Having entertained over 500,0000 children across the UK, these highly experienced, CRB checked and fully insured science experts can tailor each party for 8-30 children aged between 4 and 12 years old.
