Stockholm is the capital of Sweden and a bustling, international modern city. Getting There…

 

Situated in the very heart of Scandinavia, Stockholm is a natural meeting point for travellers. The cheapest time to fly is during the autumn and winter months when the weather is colder and daylight is limited to fewer hours. However, it’s worth travelling on these cheaper winter fares just for a chance to see the spectacular aurora borealis. Alternatively, peak season fares begin from June to August and although prices are considerably more, the weather allows visitors to explore the wonderful landscape in all of its sunny glory!

For corporate travellers flying to Stockholm, there are daily flights from London Heathrow, Gatwick and Edinburgh to Stockholm Arlanda up to eight times a day. Arlanda airport is just 45km north of Stockholm and from here travellers can catch a high-speed train every 15 minutes, which takes you right into the centre in just 20 minutes. Alternatively, travellers can also catch the Eurostar or catch a ferry.
