First things first. As any self-respecting event nowadays, the Barcelona Bridal Week has an online schedule we highly recommend you to check so you can plan your visit.

The Barcelona Bridal Fashion Week kicks off on April 25 and, as has now become a custom, it starts with Spanish fashion designer Rosa Clara’s fashion show. Over the next two days, both Spanish and foreign designers will present their new collections under the watchful eye of colleagues, friends and buyers sat in the front-row.

Many of the designers presenting their collections are Spanish, as everyone one in ten wedding dresses sold in the world are made in Spain. However, the Barcelona Bridal Week also welcomes foreign artists such as Marylise & Rembo Styling from Belgium, Galia Lahav from Israel or Cymbeline from France.

On the night of 26 April, guests exclusively invited by designers will have the opportunity to attend the Barcelona Bridal Night, a fashion show and cocktail gala that takes place outside the exhibition site. Well-known professionals and specialists in the sector and accredited media will be allowed to witness first hand some of the most exclusive designs for 2018 and enjoy an unforgettable evening.

This lively evening party usually features performances by live bands, musicians and DJs. In 2016, this special evening was led by an elegant singer accompanied by two talented musicians: a pianist and a saxophone player. Following this performance, a DJ was in charge of keeping the party alive into the early hours.

What to expect from the Barcelona bridal night this year?

At Scarlett Entertainment we’re specialists at spreading inspiration and sharing suggestions, in this case, evening entertainment ideas. We bet on live music and we’d love to see some sophisticated live performers like this Rock Electric Strings. This explosive electric string quartet is an alternative entertainment option for events such as the Barcelona bridal night. It’s something quite different from what guests at this party are used to, but they have a rocky edge that is great for brides wanting something a little different.

As we’re talking about a night based on and for brides, this special event would also require some decorative elements such as flowers and candles and we're betting on seeing these in abundance at Barcelona Bridal Week. For that purpose, our Floral Event Decorators can provide bespoke flower decorations such as flower walls, in high demand these days. They will add a touch of sophistication and elegance to any special occasion. It would be a good opportunity for buyers and future couples to get some ideas for their own weddings as our decorators are also experienced Wedding Florists.

Sophisticated evenings such as the Barcelona bridal night would also require some bartenders like our Bar Stars, who can bring an element of style to this special event. And what about a female DJ this time? Performers such as this Event Female DJ can bring her sense of style and good vibes to one of the most glamorous nights of the year in Barcelona.

The last wedding fashion show will take place in the evening of the 28th. As usual, the Spanish brand Pronovias will grace the catwalk with their always highly praised designs, closing the event on a high note.

Wedding Trade Fair

Wedding fashion shows are a great chance to check the new proposals in bridal fashion, but the wedding trade fair that is held on the 28th and 30th April is definitely the most interactive part of this event. Both domestic and foreign brands will be able to showcase their creations, network and do business with national and international buyers.

As a buyer, you can expect to find more than 300 brands in the same compound. Different wedding gowns, suits for grooms, dresses for guests…all under the same roof! Designers from Spain, Portugal, Italy, the UK, the US, China, Taiwan, the Lebanon, Germany, the Netherlands, France, Canada, Romania, Ukraine, Belgium, Isarel, Poland, Switzerland, Denmark, Belarus, the Czech Republic and Greece will be happy to show their designs and share their ideas and vision with customers and also with brides, grooms, wedding planners and students.

As global experts, we’d love to share some entertainment ideas and services that can make a trade fair like this well-attended event even more appealing. Live event artists such as this Silhouette Artist can roam around fairs and exhibitions or perform on stands creating one-off take aways for attendees. Live event artists are also a favourite booked by wedding couples, and gives them the change to try before they by. Many live event artist can also customise the paper or the cards they use with the Barcelona Bridal Week’s logo - or your company logo - and include the date of the event and other useful info like the location, a website, social networks, etc.

An event centred around weddings shouldn’t lack the proper live music entertainment. Musicians such as this Jazz Band can offer background music that will create a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere in which to do business.  So guests can enjoy a nice glass of wine or any other beverage they’d like to drink, some bartenders such as the ones inside this Mobile Cocktail Bar can be the ideal drinks service. They can provide a pop-up cocktail reception perfect for networking in the evening. Our bartenders can offer different sorts of cocktails, wine, beer and other alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks such as juices and hot drinks like coffee or tea. They could also provide some snacks like tapas and other Mediterranean appetisers, which can be ideal so foreign guests can taste some Spanish flavours during their visit.
