Based on the idea of a 1920s postal pilot lost in the sky and reappeared in the present, the walkabout act come dressed as an early century pilot and his mechanic. The pilot rides on a small moving airplane that also acts as the speaker system for their performance, meaning they can go wherever they like and still have amplified sound.
Our humorous vintage French roaming pilots’ routine involves a touch of fantasy storytelling poetry and interaction with the crowds. They hand out blank postcards and encourage spectators to fill them out and post them back in the postbox attached to the plane. Playing the accordion and violin, the pair of roaming musicians perform a selection of quirky covers in an old-fashioned style.
