This act play the perfect background music for meals and drinks receptions, but can also play a more prominent role if required.  This saxophone led group play a sophisticated selection of jazz and swing standards made famous by jazz greats such as Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald and the Dave Brubeck Quartet.  They play many songs from the great song writers of the 30's to the 50's, such as Jimmy Van Heusen, George and Ira Gershwin, Rodgers and Hart and Cole Porter.  With the Quartet some well chosen songs outside of jazz, played in a jazz style, are also possible.

They have been together since 2001, playing top quality jazz to a wide variety of audiences throughout the South West.  They have played for select parties of just 20 people up to groups of over 500 people, at venues such as the English Riviera Centre, Powderham Castle and the Imperial and Grand Hotels in Torquay.

The duo consist of Neil Maya on Saxes and Tom Unwin on piano. Usually suited to smaller gatherings Neil and Tom can play a wide range of jazz and swing standards including latin numbers to set a great mood for your event. Neil and Tom can also play either classical music (usually with Neil playing clarinet) or jazz.

"It is always good to hear real musicianship at showcases and the jazz quartet provided some quality sounds and a pleasant way with which to get the second half of the show underway. Available as a piano and sax duo, in just a few numbers here they showed their creative flexibility and collective talents, throwing in some latin jazz along the way."

The Stage Reviews - 4th Dec 2003

"Thank you so much for all your efforts both in the lead up to our wedding and on the day itself. The music was just brilliant and so many people mentioned you all afterwards Our guests were brilliantly entertained by you and you really set the tone for the day. Sad it is all over. Thanks again to you all"

Victoria and Rich March 2012

"Thanks so much for doing such a great job playing at our wedding recently. We really appreciate you all working so hard and many people have said how good you were."

Lucy and Simon Quartermain June 2010

"On the Sunday we were treated to the laid back jazz sounds of the trio and this time I did get a chance to have a chat with them and I told them that they provided exactly what we had wanted, which was a lazy Summer Sunday afternoon atmosphere. And how flexible! When we moved from the lawn into the marquee for lunch, the guys grabbed their stuff and moved closer so we could all still hear them! Everyone was blown away and the fact that the music was live again on the Sunday really made the event special."
