Book our extreme magic knife-thrower for a danger performance stunt show that will have your audience gripped to the edges of their seats. This is is magic in France that goes down well with audiences of any age, and can be customised to suit different age groups and sensibilities. Able to do a dark, brooding performance reminiscent of Alice Cooper, heavy metal and a mysterious, gothic world as well as a lighthearted, animated kids’ show, this performer is an all-round entertainer and has performed for audiences all over the world.
The act requires a volunteer from the audience, who comes onstage, selects a card from the dark during a riffle without revealing which one he or she has chosen. The magician cannot possibly know which one it is - he can’t see the deck, and the audience member doesn’t say it or even touch it!
The audience member is then given a surface to wear for the knife to penetrate, and handed the deck of cards. Standing at an impressive distance, the knife-thrower commands the volunteer to throw the deck of cards into the air. As he or she does so, the knife-thrower throws his knife at the volunteer. On its trajectory, audiences witness it puncture a card mid-air and stick into the protective surface on the volunteer’s stomach.
Unbelievably, the card that has been pierced is the one selected by the audience member.
There are many elements that make this trick impressive. Firstly, it is clearly not a trick, as your eyes detect the flight of the knife and its contact with the card in the air. Secondly, the larger the distance between the knife-thrower and the volunteer, the more impressive it is (which is something to take into consideration when booking this act!).
The extreme magician is also able to provide a range of other tricks and shows, including bubble magic (excellent with children), card magic, mentalism, hypnosis and much more.
Your guests are guaranteed to be impressed by this danger performance and will be wondering how it is done for days afterwards.
