The mesmeric and dynamic Japanese Taiko Drummers have been touring the world for 20 years and have performed in more than 50 countries.   Founded in 1993 over 5 million people of all ages have been left breathless and exhilarated by this high-energy, explosive show.

The troupe take the ancient Japanese art of taiko drumming and bring it bang up-to-date in an exhilarating display of expertise and athleticism that has been performed worldwide in concerts, corporate events, classrooms and school assemblies.

Taiko drumming is a physical, as well as musical spectacle – the drums can measure up to six feet across, requiring powerful stamina to play. The Japanese Drummers display their breathtaking expertise on over 20 drums, varying from huge barrel-like Odaikos to hand-held instruments.

Combined with exquisite bronze cymbals, vocals and bamboo flutes, they create a kaleidoscope of sound.
