Cellists Danielle and Coralie formed a duo because of their shared enthusiasm for the beautiful sound of two cellos. Often described as the instrument closest to the human voice, the cello has a rich, warm sound. It is a versatile instrument, both mellow and vibrant which lends itself to all sorts of repertoire. A cello duo is a beautiful alternative to a string quartet. Together Danielle and Coralie can provide a musical accompaniment to any event. ‘Cellist, Danielle comes has a vast experience working at professional engagements providing music for corporate events and weddings. Notable experiences for Danni recently include several tours of the French Riviera, where she performed for the Monaco Yacht Club and at an event celebrating the Queen’s Jubilee held by Prince Albert of Monaco. She has provided music for weddings and events held at exclusive hotels in St.Tropez, Monte Carlo, Antibes and throughout the UK, venues including the Bridgewater Hall, Lowry Centre and Union Chapel.
She has provided musical entertainment for corporate clients such as Manchester City Football club, Selfridges, Harvey Nichols and the Hilton. Danni has also worked as a supporting artist on the X Factor, Songs of Praise and played on several live radio broadcasts including Marc Riley’s show on Radio 6 and Radio 4?s Daily service.
Cellist Coralie has had extensive experience in session work working with professional artists in all styles of music. Highlights for Coralie include playing on the Stravinsky stage at the Montreaux Jazz Festival supporting Seal and Nile Rodgers, playing with ‘Baker street’ saxophonist Raphael Ravenscroft and recording with Frank Turner.
