This Week In The Event Industry: 26th August
1) Asia’s latest MICE development
Bankok’s IMPACT Convention and Exhibition centre is set to renovate in order to brand out into the tourism market with a 1billion bhat (US$29m) theme park.
An ambitious project, we can’t wait for the opening in February 2017. Could this see IMPACT become ‘the’ MICE destination in Asia?
You can read more about the development on CMW.
2) Olympic activations
The Olympics are over for another four years and it really was an action-packed two weeks of exceptional sporting talent.
Whilst most of us were watching the sporting events, there was a whole lost of activations and brand experiences going on in the Olympic park, set up by the event’s sponsors – we love BizBash’s roundup of the best!
Now this is something we’ve had our eye on for a while. Summerland, the immersive tropical paradise to be housed in a secret location in London is now part of a commercial partnership plan. 4) The Latest Trend in US Weddings
