Pop Up Entertainment Assembles Queue At IKEA
We entertained thousands of queuing customers in Quebec for the grand opening of IKEA on Wednesday.
Scarlett Entertainment’s artists arrived at the new Canadian IKEA store in Quebec at 3am to get prepared for the opening. When our artists arrived, customers were already waiting out the store and the queue assembled incredibly quickly throughout the morning.
As the car park filled up with cars and vans, our Hula Hoop Artist and Quebec Brass Band were on hand to keep the guests entertained throughout the morning.
The first 300 customers to enter the store were given $50 gift cards and there were $1000 gift cards raffled off every quarter of an hour.
Kate Fowler, Senior Account Manager said:
It was fantastic to piece together the entertainment for the IKEA opening in Quebec I know how crazy the public can go for meatballs and flat-packed furniture so it was great to deliver branded entertainment experiences that could roam up and down the long queue.
Although it was raining in Quebec during the launch, customers were given yellow and blue umbrellas to keep dry while they waited and our entertainment kept the smiles on everybody’s face.
