Caesars Palace Celebrates 50 Years On The Strip
The world renowned Caesars Palace in Las Vegas celebrates its 50th anniversary this year, with the ‘Summer of Caesars’ festivities kicking off at the start of the summer in order to mark the resort’s golden anniversary.
Opening in August 1966, the iconic property caused a real stir on the hotel scene thanks to its sheer size and extravagance, with the Roman-themed resort boasting imported marble statues and fountains as well as a new, all-encompassing hotel model that would change the face of the Las Vegas Strip forever. The first to introduce the headliner residency concept, the celebrity-chef driven restaurant, the in-built mall, and much more, Caesars has been a pioneering force in the city since the beginning.
Having continuously grown over the years, the hotel now features 3960 guest rooms, 300,000 sq. ft of meeting space, 14 restaurants, world-class entertainment, and plenty more amenities besides, with the innovative property only set to improve with age.
