This Week In The Event Industry: 21st April

21/04/17

Happy Friday event profs and welcome to our weekly inspiration roundup!

This week our event ideas cover how to spark creativity when you’ve hit a creative blip, the Internet’s favourite arrival areas and photo backdrops from Coachella 2017, the opening of a new immersive mansion in London and incredibly helpful writing tips for event mangers. Sit back and enjoy.

Think you’re not creative? Think again!

Everyone is creative to some degree and even if you think you’re not creative enough, you are! Just like with any other skill you just need to work at it to improve your chances of coming up with those unique ideas.

We love these seven tips from Weemss to help enhance your creativity as an event prof and bring out those creative powers.

Get that Coachella eesthetic

One of the USA’s most internationally famous festival, Coachella, is in full swing and it seems to be everywhere on our social media feeds. Whilst we’re a little bit jealous that we’re not there, we love finding out about all the incredible and inspiring visuals and brand activations that attendees are talking about.

BizBash have compiled a list of the most photo worthy backdrops from brands at Coachella – the perfect place to borrow some event inspiration!

The festival immersive

American beer brand Brooklyn Brewery are getting in on the popularity of festivals with their new immersive experience, which is set to take place in a ‘beer mansion’ in London from the 12 – 13 May.

The experience will be set over two floors and feature, music, food, art, technology and beer – of course. Each zone within the ‘mansion’ will have a different flavour profile. There are definitely some ideas to be taken from this for your next event!

Writing tips for event managers

As an event manager communicating clearly and effectively is a skill that is paramount to having a successful career. So if you think you’re written skills are lacking, this blog post might be your saving grace!
