Scarlett Provide Entertainment for Adel-Sana Wedding
Scarlett Entertainment and Events are thrilled to have been able to provide a selection of water based acts to perform at the wedding of the moment between Adel Sajan and Sana Khan.
Adel Sajan, the son of UAE billionaire Rizan Sajan, and his now wife Sana Khan treated their sum 1,100 guests to a luxury 4-day cruise on the Costa Fascinosa - Italy’s largest cruise liner - which set off from Barcelona 6 April and proceeded to dock at Marseilles, Cannes and finally Savona in Italy.
The wedding was attended by famous personalities including Bollywood stars Shilpa Shetty Kundra and Gauhar Khan and saw renowned Indian rapper Badshaah perform for guests amongst other meticulously planned entertainment. Each night of the cruise presented guests with a different theme - encompassing dress, decor, entertainment and catering - culminating in a traditional Indian theme for the wedding day on the 8 April.
Scarlett Entertainment and Events had the pleasure of providing a team of professional synchronised swimmers and a water rocket show to perform for the couple and their guests on the cruise ship whilst docked at Cannes on the 8 April - the day of the wedding ceremony.

The booking agency’s entertainment coordinator Wares Obedullah booked a water rocket show to perform in the waters surrounding the cruise ship. Three experienced water rocket riders gave a breathtaking performance of aerial stunts, conducted in line with the middle of the ship so that the couple and their guests had a stunning view. The adrenaline filled show lasted 10 minutes and was a huge hit with everyone watching.

Synchronised Mermaid Swimmers then performed in the central pool on the Costa Fascinosa later in the evening after the wedding ceremony. The group performed a stunning routine to ‘Suzy’ by Caravan Palace before then performing to a song of the couple’s choice. The first part of the show was effortlessly elegant and saw the synchronised swimmers perform immersed in the water, whilst the second part of the show introduced fire props which the swimmers used as they performed on the surface of the water. The finale saw two swimmers step out of the pool to escort the bride and groom to the podium to cut their cake as the show came to an end.
Organised by Wedniksha, luxury wedding planners in India, the whole 4-day celebration was utterly extravagant and rumoured to have cost $30 million.
