Baritone Doug Ferony borrows his musical style from such icons as Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett, and Bobby Darin, delighting audiences with a fresh approach to a familiar repertoire of American standards, from big band swing, to romantic ballads and Broadway tunes.
Doug’s excellent full-throated voice has led him to sing at some of the most notable venues in Manhattan, including the Marriot Hotel at the World Trade Centre, the C Note Jazz Club and the Arthur Ashe Stadium at Flushing Meadows, US Open, and perform with the likes of Al Martino, Jimmy Sturr and Martha & The Vandellas.
Although Doug’s great vocals and polished performances have gained him a large and loyal following in New York, he has also had success further afield, with national radio airplay and critical acclaim for music from his five albums, which contain a healthy mix of covered material and original recordings, and more recently his own cable television show.
