This energetic and dynamic four-piece brings a trendy vibe to any event, with their cool, rocked-up versions of classic anthems, cult hits and old time favourites, spanning from the 1950’s to contemporary chart-toppers.
The four members of the band, although still in their mid-20s, have each been professional musicians for over ten years, and between them have worked with the likes of Supergrass, Blur, The Fratellis, The Kooks and the Happy Mondays.
This super group of two guitars, bass, drums and 3 part harmonies, never fails to deliver an epic show, with their eclectic mix of rock, soul, pop and blues, and overwhelming passion and enthusiasm for live music.
The Big Beat have attracted extensive media attention with their young, edgy take on the traditional function bands. They have been featured on MTV’s ‘Brand New’ and ‘Pop Factory’, MTV2, HTV and S4C, and performed live on BBC Radio 1, BBC Radio 2, BBC Radio 6 Music, Kerrang Radio, XFM, BBC Radio Wales to name a few.
