Seija is a young soprano of Australian/Finnish origin. She moved to London from Melbourne in 2005 to study a Masters degree at The Guildhall School of Music and Drama having completed a Bachelor Arts/Music (hons) at the University of Melbourne, Australia. Since arriving in London she has had opportunities to perform at St Martin in Fields, Wigmore Hall, Cadogan Hall and The Barbican and worked with the British Youth Opera and ROH2.
Seija regularly performs across the UK and Europe for private, corporate, and charity functions.
Highlights of such events include a private soiree at The Ritz for Prince Albert of Monaco, performing for the Diana Award Charity at Downing Street with David Cameron in attendance, and singing the Russian and English National Anthems at Wembley Stadium for the England/Russia 2008 qualifier in front of 86,000 people.
Seija recently performed at the Official After-Party for the Champions League Final in London. A star studded event with Prince Harry in attendance.
