Gypsyfire are two dynamic virtuoso acoustic guitarists called Stuart Carter-Smith and Ben Travers. Since the pair collaborated 15 months ago they have been charmed by a whirlwind journey of success. From their first few humble gigs in local eateries to sell out performances across the globe finishing in July 08 where they signed a much coveted record/publishing deal. Effortless mastery of their guitars while flirting dangerously with their audiences with unmistakable charismatic cheek. Their music blends eras and cultures into their own cocktail of passion and romance and fire.
They are striving to promote their own new and inspiring concept of instrumental acoustic guitar music. The style has the passion of European gypsy music blended with the modern edge and the technical exuberance of todays progressive rock.
