Boogie Down is a fully live, energetic and groovin' six piece Soul band. Based in Newcastle, Boogie Down is perfect for weddings, corporate entertainment, and almost any other event. Although their repertoire consists predominantly of Soul and Funk music, they are able to provide music from the 1950s right up to current Pop tunes to ensure they meet each client’s individual needs.
Boogie Down specialise in keeping the momentum of each set going, with few stops and an assortment of medleys guaranteed to get your event cookin'!! Boogie Down is the complete package for making your special day/event one to remember, offering a range of services including dinner music, party music and a full DJ service.
As well as possessing a wealth of performance experience, all Boogie Down members are professionally trained musicians.

Boogie Down were extraordinary when we had them the first year for our Annual Dinner. So much so, we just had to get them again for this years Annual Dinner!!!! And yet again, they surprised us with their fabulous song choices and connection with the crowd.
The energy delivered by the band through their interpretation of classics and even some contemporary work meant that everyone had a fabulous time and no one felt disconnected from the event. It's hard sometimes to find a band that will really liven up social events but they do it.

We booked Boogie Down without knowing a whole lot about them but liking their music on the website. Right from the outset they were flexible and helpful on timings and the type of music they could include.
The wedding included people of all ages and with very different music tastes, but the band soon had the whole marquee dancing and really enjoying the music. The music was tight and professional and all the guests were blown away by it.
The price was great, particularly for such a big band, and we wouldn't hesitate in recommending Boogie Down to anyone.
